Be Deer Aware: Stay Safe During the Rutting Season
From September to November, the rutting season for our deer species increases the risk of deer-vehicle collisions (DVCs) on Irish roads each year, these accidents cause significant vehicle damage, injuries, and fatalities involving both people and deer.
The British Deer Society have produced a video that highlights the dangers and provides tip on how to stay safe and what to do in the event of an accident. Everything in it relates to Ireland as well.
